About SOU

Southern Outdoors Unlimited (SOU) introduces children with disabilities to the great outdoors.

SOU adventures are focused on hunting and fishing, but the goal isn’t to harvest the biggest deer or catch the biggest fish. It’s for children and their families to experience faith and fellowship and make lasting memories, all in a natural setting that renews hope and joy.

Seasonal deer, turkey, and alligator hunts and fishing expeditions are open to kids ages 6–17 coping with virtually any kind of disability.

Join the SOU Community

SOU adventures create a sense of community for children with disabilities and their families that continues long after the season ends. Children make new friends and their parents connect with other moms and dads who face and understand the same challenges.
